Idli milagai Powder - 3

Ingredients:
Dry red chilies - 50 gm
Urad dhal - 50 gm
Channa dhal - 30 gm
Sesame seeds - 15 gm
Channa dhal - 10 gm
Asafoetida - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method of Preparation:
1. Heat oil in a wok and roast the red chilies till they turn shiny. Remove on to a plate.
2. In the remaining oil roast urad dhal, channa dhal, sesame seeds and asafoetida till golden brown. Remove on to the plate with chilies to cool.
3. Once cool grind everything along with a little salt to a fine powder.
4. Spread the ground mixture on a news paper.
5. When cool, store in an air-tight container.
6. Serve mixed with gingily oil or ghee as a side dish for idli and dosas.
