Deviled eggs are a nice and quick treat that are easy to make and taste great. Following is a classic devilled recipe introduced to me by one of dear American friends and from the first time I had it I fell in eternal love with it. And I am sharing a recipe here for all of you to enjoy.
Ingredients:
Hard boiled eggs – 6 (peeled and cut lengthwise)
Light Mayonnaise – ¼ cup
Ground mustard – 1 tsp
Chives/green part of shallots – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Celery – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Salt and pepper – to taste
Paprika/red chili powder – for garnish
Method of preparation:
1. Remove yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
2. Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in the rest of the ingredients except for the paprika.
3. Fill the egg whites with the mixture and sprinkle paprika on top to garnish.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Happy cooking :)
