Ingredients:
Curry leaves - 3 cups
Red chilies - 16
Oil - 6 tbsp
Seedless tamarind - 1 lemon size
Asafoetida - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Salt to taste.
Method of Preparation:
1. Microwave the curry leaves till crisp and dry. Keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai.
3. Add urad dhal, and tamarind and chilies and fry till golden brown. keep aside to cool off.
4. When the dhal mixture has cooled down, dry grind them along with salt and asafoetida.
5. Powder the curry leaves nicely and add to the dhal mixture.
6. Mix well and let the mixture cool down before storing in an air-tight container.
7. You can enjoy this nutritious mix along with hot rice with a drizzle of gingily oil or ghee.
