Paruppu Podi

Ingredients:
Thur dhal - 1 cup
Channa dhal - 1 tbsp
Urad dhal - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1 tbsp
Dry red chilies - 12
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation:
1. Dry roast the dhals, chilies till golden and crisp.
2. Dry grind to a slightly coarse powder along with asafoetida and salt.
3. Store in air-tight container and use as needed.
4. Mix the powder with hot rice along with gingily oil or ghee.
