Sambar powder - 2

Ingredients:

Whole Red chilies - 100 gm
Coriander seeds - 100 gm
Peppercorns - 25 gm
Channa dhal - 25 gm
Thur dhal - 25 gm
Dry Whole turmeric pieces - 20 gm

Method of Preparation:

1. Clean and sun-dry the ingredients for a day.
2. Dry roast the ingredients individually to golden brown and let them cool down.
3. Pound them to a fine powder in a mill or in a mixer grinder.
4. Spread the powder in a news paper to cool down.
5. Store in an air-tight container.
